Fluffy magic. Enchanted eggs.
Pure backyard joy.
Im a single mom, homesteader, and New Jersey lawyer raising a fluffy flock of bantams on our corner lot in Farmingdale. By day I advocate for clients in court; by evening and weekend Im out in the coops with my two young kids, tending to our whimsical crew of Silkies, Polish, and a few fun mixes.
As a hobby breeder just starting out, Im not NPIP certified yet but Im actively working toward it this year. My goal is simple: share the joy of these enchanting little birds with others who want to bring a bit of magic to their own backyards.
"Watching a Silkie or crested Polish strut around like a tiny, feathered sorcerer casting spells of delight on everyone who meets them it felt like pure enchantment."
The original fluffy sorcerers
Originating from ancient China, Silkies are famous for their soft, silk-like plumage that feels like down or fur. They have black skin and bones, blue earlobes, five toes, and the gentlest personality youll ever meet. Perfect for families and small spaces.
The elegant top-hat show-offs
With spectacular crests of feathers that look like elegant bonnets, Polish chickens bring old-world elegance and personality to the flock. Known as excellent show birds and fun layers. Together with Silkies they create a flock full of character.
Various colors including white, black, blue, and painted/mottled. The ultimate fluffy lap chickens.
White Crested Black and other elegant crested varieties. Dramatic top hats and wonderful personalities.
Fun crosses including Top Hat styles and frizzles. Extra personality guaranteed.
For those beautiful blue-green eggs! Great layers with a touch of the exotic.
